Services[]

Hope for Her was incorporated as a non-profit organization in September 2003 and continues to meet the needs of individuals in our community, now serving more than 5,000 per year. WRC uses a case management approach to address all of the needs of a family, such as emergency food, clothes, housing and employment. Once the family is stable and their basic needs are met, WRC assists the family in developing and achieving long term goals through education, training and morale support.

Hope for Her can connect families to:

  • Addiction Recovery
  • Budgeting/Financial Skills Training
  • Counseling
  • Emergency Food and Clothing
  • Employment
  • Housing
  • Legal Aid
  • Medicaid/Food stamps/TANF
  • Parenting Skills Training
  • Resources for Victims of Domestic Violence
  • Spiritual Encouragement
  • Support Groups

We meet immediate basic needs such as food, clothes, and financial assistance for rent or utilities. We provide classes on budgeting, life skills and food. We assist women in setting personal goals to get back on their feet and provide connections to education, support groups and activities to encourage and empower.
