Service Description Edit

Refer the hungry and homeless to Trinity Cafe. At Trinity Cafe, we are committed to serving guests with love, care, respect and dignity, one meal at a time. If you encounter a person who is hungry and without options, send them to Trinity Cafe. We distribute tickets each weekday morning at 10 a.m. to people seeking a meal. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and we provide a hot, well-balanced meal. It’s that simple.

Trinity Cafe is a non-denominational, not-for-profit charity and invites participation from churches, businesses, civic organizations and individuals of every affiliation. Each weekday our volunteer hosts serve a nourishing restaurant quality lunch to hungry men, women and children at tables graced with china, silverware and flowers. During the meal, volunteer table companions talk with guests to help restore their dignity and self-esteem and establish a vital connection to a nurturing community.

Trinity Cafe volunteers demonstrate God's love in a practical way; through our care of the homeless and hungry. With almost 10,000 homeless on any given night in the Tampa Bay area, the challenge to make a difference can seem overwhelming. Together, we can make a difference to the homeless and hungry in our community.
