Hope House is a two-year, 43-bed transitional housing program for homeless men who are working to transition into productive and self-sufficient members of society. The men living in Hope House are provided with access to the same programs and services offered to families living in Hospitality House. Each resident receives three meals a day, quality donated clothing, a semi-private room, weekly counseling, skills training and job placement assistance.

Hours of operation: 8-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Fees charged: Sliding scale

Intake procedure: Must check into the Red Shield Lodge Emergency Shelter located at 1514 N Florida Ave and ask for an application to the Hope House. All applications are reviewed and appointments to move in are set by the Case Manager.

Eligibility Requirements: Homeless single men at least 18 years of age or older who are either working or have a steady, reliable source of income. Veterans sponsored by other agencies are also accepted. All clients must be willing to work towards self-sufficiency and increase their income.
